Description Now in glorious 2 DVD Collector Edition!

Another vision in my mind of a Ridge Racer Movie, like this [link] but much much better.

Why Christopher Nolan as director? Well, because I liked his style in the two new Batman movies directed by him, especially the action scenes, so I thought that would have been the man for stuff like this

And yes, there's My Chemical Romance as soundtrack, but with a couple of songs from the new album, all the rest could be just a gorgeous re-orchestration of classic RR tracks composed by Mr. Hiroshi Okybo and orchestrated by Mr. Keiki Kobayashi :3

And the plot? Well, you can read it in the back of the cover, no?

Hope you like it ^_^

"asks help from a legendary Ridge Racer known only s "Number 76" that retired on top years earlier due to the death of his beloved friend yet rival on track."

I spotted that Ridge Racer Type 4 reference. I SPOTTED IT.

I'd love to see a 3D-animated Ridge Racer film by Christopher Nolan. I imagine whichever studio that decided to make a Ridge Racer movie from your idea would get Rachael Leigh Cook to voice Reiko. Anyway, wonderful DVD cover. With a little tweaking, it would REALLY look like an authentic DVD cover. Great job!

I wish this would happen. I'm a big Ridge Racer fan. I just hope it won't be a Toyko Drift rip off.

meh I wish it was... and that USA wouldn't turn it into another "super-flashy-pimped-up" Fast and furious clone... ._.

Haha... seems like there is quite a lot of people here hate Fast and Furious. Well.. I agree with them, too... The modifications there are just too flashy and tends to hurt our eyes (a lot), especially the 1st and 2nd movies. They use JDM's there but they seemed like don't understand JDM's at all.

But the 3rd movies is way better, I think it's the best over all those 4 movies.

I never been able to stand that kind of phenomena... I always liked more Japanese street racing, 'cause they concentrate more on raw power and adjustments rather than on the exteriors

Best Motoring and Best Motoring's Hot Version are all you need to fulfill your JDM obsession. When my money's right, I will have the entire collection.

True... I highlighted the 2nd movie te most where the cars (Evo VIII and Eclipse Spyder) have stock engines (and even stock suspensions, can be seen from the ground clearances) but with wasteful exterior modification.

Japanese Street Racing will never stop to fascinate us. There is always something new from that phenomena. That's why I like the 3rd movie so much, it tells us about drifting craze in the country where it was born, the modifications aren't tacky and they focused more on performance.
