I don't find it depressing. I find it...real. Yay. Way to be cliche on my part. Anyway, lovely photo.

very nice shot! I like the different layers of colour!
btw irrelevant question. What genius South African mind thought it might be a good idea to hand in toy trumpets to all the spectators in the stadium of the Confederation Cup??? Oh the noise. It is like watching football with a mosquito right next to your ear.

Not really that depressing, but a good piece of photography. I think the orange of the sky make the dilapidated building seem rather beautiful, especially as the sky blends in so well with the rust tones of the building.
It seems like you've captured nature reclaiming something and that's always a good thing.
Further orange = vitamin c = happiness. That's sound maths, definetly not to be argued with.

the plainness of sky is suffocating and stifling , rather looks airless; thats whats up with the image.

Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!
God, I wish I was there right now. The way the light is just catching the water on the right side of the image is gorgeous.
There really is nothing depressing about this image, mate. You wanna take a look out MY window. Grey sky and a car park.
But then, I do think we may have a storm tonight... hmmm

i don't find it depressing at all - i see change. in b/w, maybe depression leaks. nonetheless, i like this image; conceptually contrasting dynamics between the sky/ocean and pier/building.

This is SO different to your usual stuff - it's beautiful though. very odd and the colours are something slightly unusual - depressing, but enigmatic.

I like this, the waves add a lot to it I think.
What's the darker stretch across the top, just a cloud? Looks a little strange.
