Description
The Inuktitut name for the creature we know as the Arctic Fox is Tiriganiaq. I found it a fitting title for this drawing.It's by no means my best work and I'm not sure I really like the pose ... but I haven't had the time to sit down and draw or paint much lately. It's been too nice out and there's too much to do in the summer here up north before it get's cold again. So enjoy. I'll try to do more soon.
The original is for sale for $240.00 Size 20"(50cm) x 16"(40cm) Graphite on 140lb watercolour paper. Framed in a grey wooden frame that highlights the grain of the wood.

Even though you aren't happy with the prose, this is so glorious for the white on white on white rendered only in soft grays. Knowing what you do with feathers, yeah, I can see how rendering fur and especially white fur feels so easy! Wow.
Man, I've got to sell a book. And then commission you for a lynx or some other feline...

and Yeah I'm remembering a nice reference that I have for a linx .... I should dig it up ... that would be more challenging of a fur pattern to draw.

There are two of yours that I really love. One is " My Sexual Adventures " and the other is " Man " ..... Both of those are wonderful. I'd love either of them or something brand new but simular.

Not long .... one evening .... say 5 - 6 hours it wasn't hard like doing feathers ... there isn't much real detail to it. just an illusion of detail.
