Biography:

In the 20th Ward, a child was born. Brown eyes that glowed with promise was what her father said when they has a precious baby girl. They named her Hana, because her parents saw her as a lone flower on dead soil, a blessing. As she grew up, the treated her as a blessing, giving her a lot of joy. She grew up to be a very cheerful kid-- and a chubby, plump one at that. Though her family loved her dearly, when she was in school and as a kid she'd be made fun of for her size. The people that would bully her because of her outer appearance never actually got her sad or down. Moreover, she wanted to spread happiness to others- especially in a ghoul infested world.

One day in the local playground, she'd met a boy alone. She easily approached him and asked

"Why are you all alone?"

That was the start of a new friendship. A friendship with her best friend for life, Ryuza. She started to have an unbreakable bond with the boy, and even her family would dote on him too. He was considered a part of their family, and Hana made him someone precious in her life. As she grew up of course, learning about ghouls were inevitable, and of course she knew they were dangerous, but she figured they weren't all bad. That was her way of thinking growing up at least. Her parents, though, to at least show her self defense, made her learn Krav Maga, a style of Martial arts, to defend herself to escape from situations like those.

At one point of her life, being a big sized girl and having a crush in high school, she eventually got crushed by the guy she liked, causing her to be depressed for a while until Ryuza helped her get through it. After a whole year, at the age of 19, she changed her whole image: From a chubby girl to a slimmer one, and it was one of the best choices she ever made.

She was happy for a while-- but not for too long when a tradgedy happened. Her mother had been taken away. Taken away by a ghoul. This motioned a change of plans for her in her future. Her father broke down, and he became ill. With this Hana was so determined to find whoever did this to her family and to confront them. She decided to become an investigator after that, and join the CCG from that point on. Also as that happened, Ryuza kind of left her for the 14th ward, but she never really got to ask why.

She moved to the 14th ward from the 20th after a while, because she wanted to make a change of pace. While there she had taken a job from a man who was also an investigator and the owner of the place she had been working in, Haruo.
