I've designed this up as a Needlepoint canvas, but haven't painted the canvas yet. I like the little duckling because sometimes it a broody hen that hatches different bird eggs, and brings all kinds of different critters to her brood.

This one's sooo cute
A perfect Easter card

Which makes me think...
I'm asking you a commission oder !

I didn't send any X-mas cards, and I want to redeem myself with Valentines day cards.

I would like a seahorse with a heart, seahorse is my tradekark : )

I will scan the original and print it on cards.
What do you think ?
I'll pay for sure aince it's a commission

Ah 1 I'm dreaming now... I could also made a stained glass out of the pattern.

Tell me what you think and what would be your price..something small like 8 x 11.

I would be very proud to send a card from my artist friend.

Carole

Yes I did put a little duckling tucked under her wing. I was going to title it Love is long suffering and kind, but I did not know if people would take in the humble hen and understand her good intentions. A hen will care for anyones eggs if asked. You are not seeing things, and it is a little duckling. I'm glad you like it!!!

I know that hens will take care of anyone, but I've always wondered if she'd try to keep the duck from water or if the duck would think it was a chicken and never try to swim...? do you know?

Ducks head for the water dish, and behave like all ducks from day one. Ducks love water...no matter who their mother is.
