At one time a comic book company whose name I can't remember, maybe Topps(?), was going to produce a series based on Mark Schultz's wonderful Xenozoic Tales. Since I was a great fan of Schultz's work, I decided to submit samples. I honestly didn't think anything would come of it, and it didn't, but I enjoyed the heck out of drawing his characters.
