Personality:
He is gentle but stubborn. There are days he just doesnt want to do work, and he will let you know it. He may not be the tallest fawn in the stable but he is definitely the beefiest. The does seem to be as enraptured by his curly, fluffy machismo as the grooms and staff. He definitely likes the attention of the ladies and can be a bit of a flirt and a show off. He will bully other stags in the stable if they try to get hot headed with him. He's very good with children and foals though. Kind of the daddy figure in the stable.

History:
Snow started out from humble beginnings. He was rescued from an unknown person, having seemingly been left abandoned and forgotten on a run down farm. He was emaciated, neglected and abused. his fur was so matted everyone thought he was a gigantic sheep, the mats and tangles restricting his movement and making it so he could not see. He had to be sheered like a sheep and it was only then that rescuers discovered just out bony and gaunt he was. At some point he had been attacked by coyotes but the immense ball of curly matted fur protected him from major injury.

The Rescue Group had little experience handling fawnlings, and so came to AAE to see if the Estate Owners were willing to work with Snow. Heidi took one look and could not refuse. Snow became her pet project, and spent every day working with the skittish fawn trying to peel back the layers of trauma and fear. It took her nearly a year, but it was clear that the stag was grateful for the kindness and care the estate provided him. Now, one would never know he had ever been mistreated. He will work with the right motivation, and he is always genlte with handlers, foals and children. But he does have a stubborn streak, and if he doesn't want to do something, He Wont.
