Which website did you make these with? Is there permission to sell them on the website?

there is nothing on there about that, it's free for everyone to use.

I don't know, if there's no permission on there, it does sort of count as selling someone else's art..

But most websites do count it as art theft if you're selling it for currency exchangable for real money...

We're currently reading over the rules, and it's clearly stated that unless the artist says for it not to be used for profit, then it's not prohibiting any privacy or copyright.

Da-Vos In reply to KhemyklShark [2013-03-16 16:42:54 +0000 UTC]
Where are you reading that? Because it would be going directly against the Laws of copyrights and no web site has the power to turn that over. Unless stated otherwise, you never have the right to sell another person's work.

KhemyklShark In reply to Da-Vos [2013-03-16 16:44:17 +0000 UTC]
Why are you asking me?
I'm not the submitter of this deviation. ._.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Da-Vos In reply to KhemyklShark [2013-03-16 16:46:11 +0000 UTC]
because you made the comments on the reading these rules, i would just like to know where you are reading them from.

KhemyklShark In reply to Da-Vos [2013-03-16 16:46:43 +0000 UTC]
Then ask Howl23, because she's the one that had the rules up.

perimia In reply to KhemyklShark [2013-03-16 16:33:17 +0000 UTC]
Are you sure? So if I submitted a deviation which didn't say 'you can't sell this', but didn't say you can, then people would be allowed to sell it?!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
KhemyklShark In reply to perimia [2013-03-16 16:36:35 +0000 UTC]
No, that's not what I'm saying.
Don't get mad at me, I'm just defending my best friend.
Hundreds of people sell doll maker adoptables. It's essentially using a base.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
perimia In reply to KhemyklShark [2013-03-16 16:39:50 +0000 UTC]
I've never seen someone else sell them and get away with them...
A maker on a website that is NOT PUBLISHING "you can sell stuff you make with these" is not using a base. A base is making something over the top of some initial lines. A maker is using set stuff requiring no imagination what-so-ever, simply choosing colours.
