I was harassed by some fans of a CS for making this, all because it has SCALES. I mixed 2 species together, rat and armadillo lizard, to have fun.
Guess what?
A species with scales in a similiar placement exists. Fans of the species HARASSED me. The species owner was online but didn't interfere (thank you!). They most likely didn't want toxic behaviour. Despite me (and other kind users) telling them that the species owner could speak for themselves, they continued to harass me.

I closed the species but plan to re-open it once I (and everyone else) calm down. The scale placements, along with the shape, will be changed to stop backlash! Armadillo lizards have pointed scales like that, and I'm no anatomy expert so I can't exactly replicate it. So I changed it up. I'm no art expert. Don't be rude for coincidental similarities.
This was all happening on a site for young kids. Why did they do it?
They're toxic and they don't want their species to lose popularity.

I do not need you guys exposing me or being rude to me any more then you have. This is another human being; think about your actions.

The lore was also VERY different.

Abot Enlies

Enlies are little rats with gooey, jelly-like skin and scales! They are about the size of a Berigian wolf (quite large for a rodent-like species). They ALWAYS have black scelera. Testing has revealed that they are actually sentient, can speak in any language, and use tools! The goo coming from their paws is very sticky when combined with their spit, and if they leave it alone for a while, it will dry up. They use the substance, which they call 'Kenis' (when translated, it means 'goo-glue'), as an adhesive for tools, nests, buildings and other things. They usually have 1-3 kits per litter, called 'Enlings'. Enlies, when they are alone, are called an Enli. Groups of Enlies are called different things- wandering males a 'Battalion', a hunting or foraging group a 'Team', a family is a 'Rise', a large/normal-sized clan is called a 'Parish', a small clan a 'Draft', a group of fighters a 'Troop' and a group of females a 'Grapple'.

Fun fact: they are a mix of armadillo lizards and rats, made by scientists. Nobody know why or how they got the goo.

Group and Family life

When they are aged 10 (human years, don't worry! they are not underaged in their years; 1 human year is 2 years for an Enli, so they would be about 20) they are ready to mate. Males wander away from their Battalion to seek out a Grapple. They will try to impress a female (if she is of age) or two, sometimes more, and form a Draft together and mate. Loners from outside the Draft may join to make it bigger. The first male and female are deemed the 'Supervisors' of the clan. They can approve new members, mates, food, territory, etc. etc. From there, mating pairs are formed. Enlings are born with soft scales and need to stay in the nest until they harden. They are weaned at 6 months (1 year) and can live for 1000s of human years, leading many to believe they are immortal. If they live that long, they are granted the title of 'Dragonmaster'!

I wrote the following warning as well:

Note: if the mods (or anyone) is concerned that this is a copy of other species, please don't be. I apologize for that if that is what you think. In fact, it is just my imagination- I wanted to make a mix of some of my favorite species! I didn't even expect it too get popular. I don't want me or anyone else to get in trouble for taking part in the species. If you read the fun fact, you can see what two creatures I mixed. The only thing this has in common with some other species is the scales, however nobody owns the concept of putting scales on mammals/birds/scale-less creatures. I was honestly concerned that people would complain, but I decided that if I were to explain it they wouldn't mind/care. I would hate to see myself or anyone else to get banned for this innocent rat-lizard. It is not a rip-off, and even if it was, it is a lot different so there shouldn't be a reason to call it that.

Seriously though, why should I get in trouble for a mix of two animals? I can understand if I mixed a dog and a lizard, then its pretty much the same thing, but the lore, base species, behaviour etc is different! I thought up the lore by myself- along with the creatures I felt like mixing. I'm quite fond of the lizard species I used, so why shouldn't I be allowed to use it in a mix? Sure, maybe the scales look siimiliar, but honestly that was the only placement I could think of, and if you guys really want, I'll move them. I am young and I do not wish to be banned for my imagination + ideas. You cannot claim a trait and please stop yelling or complaining, it will be reported as it is HARASSING me and making me upset.

If the species owner has a problem, they can talk to me over Discord.

You didn't make the similiar species, so you have no right to harass me. The species rules state 'no mini modding', so if the mods need to they can deal with it.
You can't tell that this is a copy. It isn't and I'm allowed to mix 2 species. Mixed species are not even unique! I did this for fun.
I'm getting upset with your behaviour. Is this acceptable? Think, would you do this off the internet? If not, don't do it here.

You're just making the species look bad. If its members go on whitekniting people who make something similiar, people won't want to get involved with the species.

You're harassing another HUMAN BEING. Younger then you, most likely. You wouldn't go up to a child and start bullying them, would you?

Behaviour + Guidelines
They roll up in a ball and bite their tails (like the lizard haha) when threatened
They never have differently shaped scales- if they break, that's an exception
Scales cannot come off as they are fused with muscles under the skin and it would be painful, even fatal
Scales can be any colors + patterns
Eye color can be anything- scelera must be black
Scales can be raised and lowered to make them look bigger or more threatening
Scales are very sharp, and if they bump into you (on purpose) it can cause fatal bleeding
Are actually very gentle
Can have wings, but it is rare
