Last weekend I derped the initial sketch of this out as a bit of vent art given my state of mind at the time being not-too-positive. Later this week I decided to do some color and expression practice with it.Normally if I go all-out on a vent art piece it winds up excruciatingly detailed on the zoomed-in bits, but still not where I want to be with the bigger picture....just me being OCD on minutia to a degree I should avoid. It also takes about 20 times longer.
So, I tried to stay zoomed out...

I don't recall (this was a long time ago). The general feel I think I was going for was he was injured, afraid, possibly cold.

That's a pretty nice pic. The expression does shows to be "not too positive" indeed.
