Description

I've never been all that fond of Fimo's Ice Blue Quartz effect color as it's rather pale and bland. However, Libra-In-Red showed me that it is a really great base color for turquoise Pearl-Ex mica pigment, so that's what got me started on this dragon. I knew I wanted to showcase that beautiful shimmering blue, so I ended up giving the dragon darker points on the extremities, like a Siamese cat. And since I was working with this wonderfully chilly blue color, I decided to make this an ice dragon. She has sparkling holographic icicle horns and wings, as well as some strategically placed ice crystals on her shoulders, head and back. As an extra detail, I added a few larger holo flakes around her ice crystals - extra work, but I think it really adds a lovely final touch to her.

I made this dragon about six weeks ago, and she's still my absolute favorite dragon that I've ever made. I've been sitting on those glass chunks for a few years at this point and never really knew what to do with them, so I'm thrilled that I finally got to put some to good use.
Crafted from Fimo and Premo polymer clay, Pearl-ex mica pigment, glass, holo glitter. This dragon has been sold.
