Description
Here's the second go with the sakura flower cutters, as well as my brand new leaf cutters. I chose a translucent white base and added a dab of light pink alcohol ink to the center of each, which I think turned out looking pretty good! Unfortunately, I don't think the translucent green leaves were the right call - they needed to be a bit more opaque to match the flowers. This dragon has a scattering of pink-to-green color-shifting flakes along her back to give her a springy vibe, as well as a pair of twisted, bare branch horns.
Side note: microbeads stick just fine to raw clay, but they won't stick to an ink-coated surface (no surprise, since alcohol dries out clay). Consider using a tiny dab of liquid clay to hold those beads in place - it will save a lot of time and frustration.
Crafted from Premo polymer clay, SolarColorDust chameleon flakes, alcohol ink, microbeads, and bugle beads. This dragon has been sold.
Got that spring feeling
