The altered perspective really adds to the piece, especially with how the lady dancer is looking directly at you and looks like she's upright. Then there's the way that the man creates a line that leads you to her and almost directs motion... Awesome shot!

This capture is beautiful, the ballerina's pose is so precise that it looks like she could be dancing exactly perpendicular to her partner

I really like Pas D'Inception. I was looking through my 'fake' paintings and came across this fav.me/d5r9bvs about half way through the selection for I sent you the link. What do you think? It was directly inspired by the Impressionism of Sisley and early Pissaro.

This is really interesting. How did you do that?

This 'painting' was the same kind of high definition photo as say, this one fav.me/d5rcs9a taken near by and merely 'enhanced' a little to bring out its virtues. In the Photoshop filter bank under 'artistic' there is a palette knife effect filter with a scalable 'brush' size of up to fifty pixels. The impressionists didn't go in for 'fine art' brushwork using tiny brushes for details but painted everything in fairly coarse strokes for which this filter, if not ideal, is close. The ffect is then 'enhanced' by using a separate 'brushwork' filter with carefully adjusted settings for angled strokes. Another brushwork filter finds and emphasises stroke edges. If these techniques are very carefully matched to a suitable subject then a 'sexton blake' impressionist painting can result. On a few works if even used a canvas weave texture filter on top of anything else I did.

Nutcracker. The stoplight is off stage so the audience couldn't see it.

cool I remeber I used to see that ballet a lot when I was younger and I had the barbie film version of it. (Although I wouldn't have guessed it from the costumes, but then it could be that I havent seen it in a long while!

This is incredible, there are no words to describe how beautiful it is. The picture combines two different points of view very smoothly. The contrast between the background and the colorful clothes of the dancers and the light blue of the floor creates a very appealing image and the composition makes an unusual point of view appear natural. The glitter and the lights in different colors in the background add special effects and make it look even more extraordinary.
A great piece of art, for me, there is nothing, which can be criticized about it. Perfect!
