Being homosexual is not the same thing as being sexist. I accept gay!Dumbles as part of my headcanon (along with gay!Remus and bi!Sirius), but since the books themselves never say that Dumbles is gay, you are perfectly entitled to see him as straight.

I thought the faces on the wall were your weird version of headmaster portraits. They don't seem three-dimensional to me unless I look very closely. I suppose they represent the Founders.
