First i had to get 10 different shades/textures in charcoal, the cut out each little piece and put it together to create the dear Mr. Poe.Related content

wow, this is beautiful! amazing skill with paper. charcoal adds a grisly and gritty effect to reflect poe's writing.

What an interesting way of creating art! i'd like to try but i dont think im motivated enough. its really beautiful. if you hadnt said it was made of cut papers i would have never guessed. id be sitting here for a good twenty minutes trying to figure it out.
