Description
One day after a year long break, I decided to try out Cinema 4d because I saw someone complain about long render time.
Some would leave the computer on because it would take hours for it to render.
So I went on a little hunt to try and find some of the variables which lead to extensive rendering time. Here are some of them.
- Placement of light and number of lights.
- It takes VERY VERY long if one of the material has reflection turned on.
- The amount of render being rendered.
- Using 3+ for hypernurb setting.
- Size of the image being rendered.

In my materials, and the scene, I kept all of these in minds and I was able to decrease rendering time to under 1-2 minutes.
The render pack contains all of the images which I rendered, and the ones labeled fourth usually are the last few I worked on, and they took about 1-2 minute.
