Description Sometimes it was quiet, not just a momentarily lapse of silence, an unnerving feeling of sadness would admit from not just from his partner, but from himself too.

There were time's that it felt like the world was hopeless, there was nothing left to rely on. They left everything behind, to what? to become what they have now? how is this an improvement?
His partner took time off after missions where he could tell the blonde needed some time to himself. He became almost emotionless in a stoic state, that could've put even the Uchiha's to shame. He would watch him sometimes, he'd get up at different times in the night. To go sit on the porch outside by himself sometimes smoking a cigarette. His skin had turned to a sickly pale color, pertaining to purplish over time, as if he hadn't cared about the temperature outside or the danger he was putting himself in, exposing himself to such harsh weather.

It got to a point where Tobi had approached him clearly worried about how fast the blonde had been deteriorating mentally and physically. Sometimes not even yelling at Tobi when he was on his nerves. He had tried his best to quietly approach him and comfort him in any way he could as he would be capable of.

"Deidara-senpai"?

The Blonde said nothing, but turned his head slightly to the side showing he had heard the masked boy.

"Hm"?

"It's late out, and cold." "You could easily catch a cold here, you should go back to bed Senpai." "your skin is even starting to show signs of frostbite."

He took a puff of his cigarette before his flicked the bud into the snow as he looked down to his arms, indeed showing signs of frostbite, not like he cared though.

"So? It doesn't matter anyways it's my body i'll do with it whatever i please."

"Deidara, we're all worried about you..."

Deidara quietly shifted his weight and looked solemnly to the ground as he fully acknowledged Tobi's words as they sat in his mind.
As Deidara said nothing, Tobi had taken it as a sign that Deidara didn't want to discuss it with him. And turned around to open the back door.

"You wouldn't be the only one."

It was hardly audible, though Tobi had been able to hear it, He said nothing and left Deidara to himself, for once respecting his need for privacy. Knowing that even the greatest Shinobi had their weaknesses. The saddest people usually had the most beautiful smile...

The look of loneliness and despair in his eyes that he saw in Deidara, He had remembered how he felt after Rin died before his eyes, how he wanted to crawl up inside a hole and die. He wanted nothing more than to isolate himself more than possible. He didn't see a meaning for life anymore. He never thought he'd be happy again.  He can still see her face sometimes, and it haunts him daily in his nightmares. But at this time, he wanted nothing more than to see his partner feel okay again.
