Description
Went with Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan over it's alternate name SSJ Blue. It maybe a tongue twister, but it's not as lame as naming it after it's color.

I wanted to make Goku in the new saiyan armor, considering I haven't really seen anyone do it. My aim was to have a pose that captured the new form in all it's glory and clearly show the armor off in full detail. I fell in love with a pose done by Niiii-Link and I felt was perfect for this design. It was a challenge drawing it, because it was quite a different outfit to draw compared to what I'm used to doing, which is the older saiyan armor (mainly Bardock). This one is a lot more complicated lineart wise and I had a few issues drawing it in the Tenkaichi style. Few main issues were drawing the legs in the Tenkaichi style, including the pad like things around his waist. Plus doing the shadowing was something I spent a lot of time redoing, until I was happy with it. I also made some changes to his hair to look more like Goku's hair in the Tenkaichi series. Finally I lost a lot of time (like usually) playing with effects and doing a background (which I do have a saved version on my laptop). But I eventually gave up and asked Niiii-Link if he could help out with the blue aura. Which was originally done by a good friend here on Deviantart Naruttebayo67, so I hope it you have not already done so go and check out both these amazing artist when you get a chance.

P.S I was always planning of doing the new Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form, despite not being the biggest fan of it. But the idea was spending a lot of time making this artwork, that the form would grow on me. And I would have to say it has (a lot), with that said though it's still my least favorite form.
