First, I apologize for the photo quality this was taken with my droid, and I was rushed as I didn't want captain hippo to move.

This is my cat (picture was taken in the summer). He lived the first year/year and a half of his life as a farm cat. As you can see here, he has gracefully adapted to being a spoiled house cat.

When we got him he was a healthy, but thin "big cat", weighing in at 12 pounds. Since he no longer has to kill his food, and has discovered that when he empties his bowl, food magically reappears the next morning, he's now a healthy, but enjoying life "big cat", weighing in at 20 pounds (hence the Captain Hippo nick-name).

I will attempt to take a better picture at some point, but I like to have theme's with pictures, not just use DA as a flicker account.
