Finally, I actually got around to somewhat of a tutorial!
It's not all that great, and I don't know if it'll actually be helpful, but this is basically how I draw ponies. Step by step instructions, and tips to drawing them.
**Yeah, there might be some spelling and grammar errors. I quickly threw the text together, and didn't actually spell check it or anything.

After a good hour on paint I was finally able to draw my own pony...head (still something though). Thanks for the how to guide. Now off to practice

So after a few days of wanting to try drawing ponies again built up, I finally gave in. I had to dig through a bunch of junk to find an old mechanical pencil from high school. I got half way through the second step and gave up. This atrocity looks more like an inverted malformed 'W'. My sister got all the artistic talent. You should see these awe-inspiring oil pastel creations of hers. If she ever gets around to drawing Rainbow Dash for me, I'll show you somehow.

Aww, well at least you tried! Some of my first ponies were pretty atrocious though.. it takes time! And man, oil pastels are hard to work with! If she does get around to drawing her, I really would love to see it.

I wish I could show you how much I failed! XD I did pretty good on the tail though.
Probably would help if I owned a pencil. I have two of these neat brush kind of pens.
I'll stick to decals. I think I am gonna actually post a few in the next week. Lie to me and tell me how awesome they are!
