No, not at all, and that was kinda the idea. It's a very dark blue, almost subtle.

Almost as if you could barely tell the difference.

They do look nice. I love the ideas for the other engines too.

This livery does seem to fit them more! In my human series, I've always been trying to decide on what color the twins' engine should ultimately have in the end, but this really has a better choice than my other two choices.

Donald: A fine work of art ye've done there, laddie.
Douglas: Aye. Yeh really captured our good looks.

Wow, the twins look really cool. Quite fitting you did them first, considering The Twin Engines book is next.

Yep. Rare Find's wife dies and leaves him with a spoiled son, Cayenne's husband cheats on her and her daughter is outspoken and rude, Neon Light's family is broke and his son resents them for neglecting him, Electric Sky's husband is lazy and their daughter rebels and leaves the house when they aren't looking, and Lyra is dead before she can marry and start a family.

I can imagine Lyra's reaction when she's dead and sees Comet getting a happy marriage.

When Song Cue and Comet get married, we should have Rare Find, Cayenne, Electric Sky and Neon Lights looking over in shock at how happy the couple is.

I can also imagine an exchange between Mystic Light and Lyra when the latter dies.
Lyra's pain started to fade away into nothing after she had been shot. She felt herself being lifted high into the sky. Up there, she found someone she hadn't seen since she was a sophomore. The figure was a transparent blue now, covered in stars, but Lyra could still see her.
"Mum!" She raced toward her in joy. But, as she came close to the starry barrier that would lead her to heaven, she felt a block. Lyra was confused, and tried hitting it. Nothing. What was going on?
"Lyra..." Mystic Light sighed. "You have failed to better yourself."
"W-what?" Gasped Lyra. "Mum, this is a crazy joke. Allow them to let me in."
"I have tried so hard to get you to love your little brother, all of you in fact. And only Shooting Star and I would give him the compassion he deserved."
"B-but... he's a child not from dad..."
"That shouldn't have mattered." Snapped Mystic Light. "I had fallen in love with another after your father became distant and cold to me, and was prepared to marry him. But because your father had been deceitful by hiding the plane tickets, and I had no choice. And Comet Tail is not at fault for this."
Lyra's heart seemed to freeze. Top Marks being distant from Mystic Light and hid the plane tickets from her just so she couldn't marry someone she loved? This was news to her. She had been told by Top Marks that Mystic Light saw another man without any reason.
"On top of neglecting poor Comet Tail," Mystic Light continued, "you and Noteworthy hurt Coco Pommel. You knew Noteworthy asked Coco to the Formal first, and instead of turning down his offer, you decided to go with him. And for this, Lyra, you and Noteworthy shall be punished."
"I... I didn't do anything wrong!" She shirked, but the darkness seeped her in. Instead of being transparent blue with stars like her mother, she was now a murky red colour, and her injuries spilled blood (though she didn't feel anything). The house she was in was cold and empty, with no one in sight.

Indeed. Soon enough, her twin and three other siblings will pay the price. Lyra's death was an omen.

It may go something like this:
Morning Roast glanced over at Lyra's broken body. Rare Find, Cayenne, Neon Lights, and especially Electric Sky and Noteworthy were sobbing over her. The high school student seemed to close her eyes for a moment, and gave a solemn nod.
"This death is an omen." She said to herself. "Soon enough, her twin and three other siblings will pay the price."
Song Cue's eyes widened with surprise.
"You sound just like a medicine cat from the warriors series. Have you been reading them too?"
"Well, I've heard of them, but never read them." Morning Roast replied. "But I will take that as a compliment."
But what price is Morning Roast talking about? Song Cue thought to herself. Not a brutal death I hope. Sure, Lyra had been cruel to Comet Tail, but Song Cue was sure he wouldn't wish this upon his half-sister, and she wouldn't wish death upon anyone, not even her worst enemy.
