It's a difficult lesson to learn, but some people simply will choose not to like you. You cannot control how people will or won't see you. You can be kind, loving, and do everything for a person, and when he's in a bad mood he may still choose to interpret you in a negative light and you can't control that.

It's really hard, you'll want to argue your case, to show him facts that demonstrate that he's wrong, but if you do that he'll just say you're being argumentative. Honestly, all you can really do is be at peace within yourself. Examine his criticisms of you to see if there's any truth in it, and do your best to grow from it, then move on knowing that not everyone is a good person, and not everyone wants to see the truth, some people just see their own issues and project them onto you.
