Geeez this one was the piece that took me the longest... but I believe this is my most beautiful piece to date as well.I lost track of time when it took over than 70 hours and - believe it or not - this has exactly 600 layers.
Still, this is the least I could do for Mr. Green Mario. It is his year afterall and I've been longing for a sequel to the original Luigi's Mansion for over 11 years. Got to say it was worth the wait though. Except for the bosses. Those were lame (except for the spider and the boos).
Needless to say I took some small artistic liberties here and there. Also, I've made a startling discover: A mistake nintendo let slip by and I'll be sharing with you guys later.

A work like this would take me a very, very long time. And holy shizz, 600 layers? My program would crash!
It's a wonderful piece and I like the angle you chose. I especially love all the ghosts you added and the Boos having their own looks

Hahha, yeah, thanks! I though no one noticed the boos. I tried to match their names (Boo B. Trap with a pirate-esque look, Booluga kinda looking like a whale and so on).

I love seeing boos having their make-up and stuff. It makes them stand out (or float in their case) from any other normal Boos.
I completely forgot about Booluga but that's because I didn't know it was a whale species

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it was a pun with the Beluga Whales, which is a kind of completely white whales (and since boos are white, I thought it was an intended pun).
But yeah, I know what you mean. I kinda wish they were sort of like this in the game. It would have made up for the lack of more iconic ghosts, like the portrait ones from the original Luigi's Mansion

Ha! Nintendo might have actually been thinking deep when it came to the puns.
The game turned out to be completely different than I had expected. From a more dark horror-ish game to a humorous version with charming ghosts. I was really happy when it came to the Boos but you are right for the fact they could be slightly more different when it came to their looks. I think more fanart would appear if Nintendo added the "accessories".

Fantastic work! I have to ask though...did you notice the Solarium isn't shown on the exterior of the mansion even though it's enclosed in glass on the side of the left tower? (You have to climb it to get to the bathroom.)

And not just that, but if you look at the manor from the mansion selection screen at E. Gadd's lab, the tower that has the pool has one extra floor, making the pool look like it's one floor above the water-thingy in the other tower. That's why, in my picture, you have one of the boos making one floor disappear
