I am really digging the color palette on this one. Nails the tone of the piece right on the head, plus I'm a huge sucker for purples, blues and hints of pink =v=
loved the background when it was first teased, seeing the final however I can say Riiser works really well to complement the pictures tone. I love the heck out of your facial expressions and it comes as no surprise this one is up there rather high for me.

Thank you kindly! Funny thing is it all started with Riiser's face and then I just took the colour palettes and worked from there to the background. Really glad to see how well it turned out by using so little.
Also, same here. Blue and purple are the colours I'm a huge sucker for.

What can I say? I'm a person who loves to work with caricature. It's a good way to make the characters fit the environment more if the background is made to fit their style.
Indeed they do. They just give a very peaceful vibe when used correctly. But the same can also be said about the other colours.
