The first few episodes after Asami's father was revealed to be an equalist, I predicted that Asami would turn... sort of sad it didn't happen

I expected her to be evil since the first moment she appeared in the show. I found her casual encounter with Mako not "casual" enough, it seemed planned to me.Β
It's still a shame she wasn't an Equalist. I keep thinking it would be an even greater character arc for her if she started being an antagonist and still ended the way the series did, with her and Korra as a couple.Β

Definitely. The whole series was much more basic than the first (ATLA), made the series a little childish unfortunately
I really do wish that she turned evil haha. Like you said, it would have made such a great arc if they ended up as a couple even with good vs evil
