Description It's difficult to spread humanity for all living things.
Hopefully I can always have gratitude to them somehow.

Made for the spirit of black humor!
NOT an anti KFC or anti something campaign.
And of course I love fried chickens. Why not

Ha ha, and i'm vegetarian!
I've been to Bird Land in Ginza - if you like chicken - at the time i wasn't vegetarian. Is it still in business?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

hummingvoids In reply to Viv-Leoni [2011-02-08 12:17:56 +0000 UTC]

You must be rich at that time haha.
It's most expensive place in Tokyo, champagne makes flow in sewage there
Vegetarian sounds good for your health

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Viv-Leoni In reply to hummingvoids [2011-02-08 12:36:07 +0000 UTC]

Uh, unfortunately i didn't used the toilet there...
I remember it was pretty expensive in fact, but there was an affordable menu with many different entries for something like 15000 yen (at the time Euro was very strong and it wasn't a big effort for me and i used to spend around 3000-6000 yen for every meal), if i remember correctly of course... Obviously i didn't have any alchool to save up money, there was water or green tea for free. It is still like that?
The most expensive place i've ate in Japan was a place in Kyoto famous for sukiyaki (in fact it was astonishing delicious) with geishas serving dishes in private rooms. In the end they gave me a little present (i had to chose beween a teddybear or a sort of flag both with restaurant ensign...).

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

hummingvoids In reply to Viv-Leoni [2011-02-08 14:19:53 +0000 UTC]

LOL so you(and your stomach) have enjoyed that stay deeply, that's great
A teddy vs a flag. I'd choose teddy, and present it to grandma hahaha.
Yep most restaurant serves green tea or oolong for free. They are pretty refreshing than plain water. aren't they?
I've never played with Geisya in Kyoto...They are DAMN expensive!!!
Origin of Geisya culture is called "Ozashiki-asobi"ใŠๅบงๆ•ท้Šใณ", private club party of ancient Kyoto.
Many traditional restaurant there still holds Ozashiki-asobi, most of them requires invitation tho
Definitely must try once someday

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Viv-Leoni In reply to hummingvoids [2011-02-08 18:28:13 +0000 UTC]

In fact that's why i made an efford to try that restaurant despite it was very expensive, it happens (to the average European i mean) very few times to none to be served by a geisya in a lifespan.
Unfortunately i went for the flag, i admit i quite regretted it later, teddy could have served as souvenir...

hummingvoids In reply to Viv-Leoni [2011-02-09 01:48:21 +0000 UTC]

A flag!! so you were a walking ad on way you homeLOL
(Instantly I got image of a europian guy with vivid flag on his backpack... )

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Viv-Leoni In reply to hummingvoids [2011-02-09 09:42:14 +0000 UTC]

It was pretty small one and not so vivid tho, i still have it somewhere...

Kyoto was a great place for eating, that lovely sukiyaki but there was also place that made a very tasty ramen for few money and i totally fell in love for unagi - that's the sole dish i miss now that i'm vegetarian. Hmm, everytime i travel i give a big importance to the local tastes... Prolly too much...

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

hummingvoids In reply to Viv-Leoni [2011-02-09 17:20:29 +0000 UTC]

Yeah local tastes are always good to your belly and wallet
BTW What made you a vegetarian?
Eating greens doesn't keep you from the huge food chain.
But keep you from precious local foods like Tonkotsu ramen ... I guess

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Viv-Leoni In reply to hummingvoids [2011-02-09 17:31:21 +0000 UTC]

In fact in certain places i visited i found pretty hard to even obtain some food...
Basically i became vegetarian because i feel sick thinking i'm eating dead flesh... It feels to me like eating human flesh... Before becoming vegetarian i lost 30kg of weight - i wasn't able to eat. That may sounds odd but that's the way it happened for me.

People make a burn on their hand, even if it was a drip of cold water. Sometimes our imagination can kill ourselves...I can imagine that.
On the other hand, strong imagination is a powerful source of creativity. It's like a sharp double-edged sword you have to survive with

P.S. Me - 30kg = 15kg. I could hardly exist.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Scary thought, scary picture. I love it. As long as you thank the animal spirit for it's great sacrifice, and remind it that YOU will be food for it's kind one day, then you should be good. I hope.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

hummingvoids In reply to flamian [2011-01-26 05:53:56 +0000 UTC]

Eating is not bad if that makes you happy. just risks on your health

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

flamian In reply to hummingvoids [2011-01-26 06:13:21 +0000 UTC]

Eh, that's gluttony, though. And eating is bad, if that's the reason you're eating. We should all eat to live, but not live to eat. Bad for your health. Not to mention an incredibly shorter lifespan.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

hummingvoids In reply to flamian [2011-01-26 06:38:24 +0000 UTC]

Or you could be an epicure. Epicures help improving food culture into art.
For health, indeed. But they can accept that as their life

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

flamian In reply to hummingvoids [2011-01-26 15:15:15 +0000 UTC]

Ah, excellent point. But that's slightly different from a glutton. Gluttons are people who just can't stop eating without intervention.

Epicures just have an awesome job. Going around, trying all kinds of food. Oh yes, a very awesome job.
