I don't know whether this was intended but one thing I really love about this it is a more accurate regarding Daenerys' actual age in the books. Don't get me wrong, I love the series as much as I love the books: I never thought I would ever say THAT about a decent let alone great series of books, ever... but hey it's a brave new world! Still, as a longtime fan of the books it is fun to remember the particulars, including the fact that she is 14-15 years old at the end of book one.

Beautiful work, I really wish they could have found a girl just like this one for the series! You captured the true vision of the books which is of an unearthly, powerful, intelligent but nonetheless impressionable young woman (sexy too, but I went for the more high-minded adjectives first).

I completely agree, but on the topic of casting: even for HBO, casting a 13ish year old girl in a sexual role, or even getting an 18-year old girl to PLAY a 13-year old girl in such circumstances, would have violated certain child pornography laws. George R. R. Martin talked about this in an interview on YouTube. But she is all of the adjectives you used ;D I too adore the series and its faithfulness to the books, but on the topic of things I would change: I wish the Targaryens had purple eyes in the show like they do in the books! I feel like applying that in post wouldn't have been that expensive (I know how to change eye color well myself), and it would have emphasized the uniqueness of Targaryen blood.
