Two powerful, supernatural hybrids (half-demon for one and half-vampire for the other) with a blonde-haired human mother (Eva and Lisa), and a supernatural father, who's one of the most powerful beings of their kind (Sparda and Dracula).

Their mother's deaths would make them hunt down their own kind and they went through many adventures with this goal in mind. In these, they would end up fighting a white-haired family member of theirs who opposed humanity (Vergil and Dracula).

Both would eventually meet with a white-haired teenager, who was actually related to them in some way (Dante met Nero, who was his nephew and Alucard met Soma Cruz, who was the reincarnation of his father, Dracula) and they would mentor them and help them with their powers, albeit in different ways (Dante teaching Nero the art of devil hunting and Alucard helping Soma to better control his powers in order to prevent the return of Dracula... again).

Both have also allied themselves with many different warriors, including a human fighter who specializes in hunting their kind and travels to fight a being too powerful for them to fight alone, who they first fought with before eventually siding with them (Lady and Trevor Belmont), and a blonde-haired magic user who they'd be romantically involved with (Trish and Maria Renard).

Both have used aliases to cover up their real identities, that seem to be normal names in their respective contexts (Dante taking up the name Tony Redgrave, due to DMC mostly taking place in the US and Alucard calling himself Genya Arikado in the Sorrow games, in which most of the characters there are Japanese).
