that statue on the background rolls it's eyes. Seems like the dwarf is fighting a loosing battle.

I like the muscle detail, the montains could use some of that though

I deliberately left out detail on the mountains to try and create the illussion of distance.

I didn't notice..... maybe it's the way I look at things that my attention was drawn to the hammer, and I lost my perspective in the piece. Now that you point it out, though I see what you mean.

I like this new pic very much! With regards the anatomy, the orcs and the dwarf are great - the only slight problem I see is that the dwarf's right forearm could be a little longer, but other than that, it's a good dwarven anatomy you've captured there!
The only other anatomical problem is the horse's head, which could be a tad smaller.
The background rocks - the level of detail you've gone for is just spot on; not too little and not so much that it detracts from the action of the piece.

Cheers. The horses head is so big beacause it's supposed to be a Shetland pony (a dwarf would be tiny on a full size pony). The problem with the right arm is the bracer as it is supposed to be tilted away from the viewer (hence the shortness) but the bracer destroys that illusion by curving down instead of up. Thanks for the feedback. I'l get onto the tweaking after I've done the Drunk elf changes

Cheers, I painted the background on a separate layer and colour corrected it to make the foreground pop a bit more.

Yeah the ongoing struggle with anatomy. With so many half naked characters it was a challenge. I only use my webcam for refferance shots- and I am NOT built like these guys (unfortunately).
