I started this around 3 weeks ago and I have put a load of time into it so far, probably around 70 hours so far. Coloured pencil are very tedious and slow. Wanted to share it's progress. ref pic is from africanreferencephotos.com. Β Still a way to go....

I wanted to try draw a zebra with pastel, but I didn't dare to do it, because
I already knew what do you draw so I felt like I stole your idea.
So I decided to draw another animal.Β Β

Love to see a zebra from you! I wouldn't feel like you stole my idea, rather be happy to see how you go about it. I'll be honest and say that I am battling a bit with their anatomy. I have never drawn horses or zebras before and the ref pic is forcing me to make compromises which I am not too comfortable with... Oh well, I am sure you feel the same way with the fur. Look forward to you next work... What is it ... Something furry? ππ
