My entry for OC illustration contest

Backstory
------------
Raven ( the man in red ) and Aurora ( the woman in blue ) are both demi-humans living in a parallel world ( Abstractica ), a world where human emotions, thoughts, nightmares can manifest and have a will of their own, and the main source for that flow of emotions, dreams and nightmares into Abstractica is our real world... and that flow is what links Abstractica to our world ... but lately those manifestations have been going out of control and causing lots of damage in Abstractica .. not only that .. but some agents of abstractica who can travel to our world reported manifestations appearing in the real world itself which was never heard of before.

Demi-humans in Abstractica live in cities called "Havens" where the manifested ideas from our world can't enter and wreak havoc upon the citizens of Abstractica ...and in order to fight those manifestations the head government of Abstarctica formed a team of demi-humans ( ARMS ) who are able to manifest their personal traits in a physical form ( which only few can do .. and they are nicknamed HANDS ) ... each agent is able to manifest two of his traits ( basically his/her best "virtue" and his/her worst "sin ") Raven was able to manifest his Gluttony and Chasity and Aurora was able to manifest her Sloth and Humility ... and they were paired together to fight the wild manifestations that attack their world ... along with looking for the origin of their existence in Abstractica and its links to the real world.

After lots of encounters and surprises Raven and Aurora reached a barrier that shields the source of the crisis as part of their mission to understand the origins of themselves and their world .... the problem was that the barrier is so strong it would dissolve anything that passes through it ... Raven's Gluttony and Chasity can't be of any use until they cross the barrier but Aurora's Humility enables her to heal her body at insane rates .. if she did that .. Raven would perish and Aurora would make it to the other side alone and unable to fight .. So the only hard choice left that will ensure the mission's success was that Raven would use his Gluttony to absorb Aruora's body along with her ability ( like he did to many of their foes ) ... and so they delve deeper and deeper into the barrier to face their destiny.

When Aurora realized that Raven is dying from passing through the Barrier she offered herself to be absorbed by his Gluttony ability so that he can heal himself and make it to the other side of the barrier ( since she can't fight he is the only hope to complete the mission ) ....she always loved him but was never able to tell him about her feeling due to many reasons ... and while he protected her all the time ( eventhough she can heal any injuries ) he was always cold to her which made her even more hesitant to tell him about her feelings .. but at that instant he absorbed her body her understood everything .. since not only did he gain her abilities .. but her emotions .. her dreams and her feelings .. most importantly he realized her pure love to him .. but it was too late to return that love since she is gone now ... this experience changed Raven forever ... both as a person and as a warrior ( carrying all he abilities, dreams, thoughts and emotions of all those he encountered and absorbed before that moment ) ... which made him ready to face and withstand the unimaginable trials he will face inside the barrier.
