You don't often see a B-unit in the lead, but I was coming into Williston, ND on a day off from work in July of 1995 and found these three units pulling a string of covered hoppers. I finally figured out they were just pulling the cars backwards and they eventually ran around and hooked on from the other end for an eastbound journey.

The power is BN B30-7A 4019 (assigned BNSF #4019), U30C 5394 (retired in 1996) and SD40-2 7093 (to HLCX 7093, to CEFX 7093, to CEFX 3184).

The B30-7A was, despite the "A" tag, a cabless B-unit. GE only built them for BN.

BN was the only line to order them. I was lucky enough to catch a few of them before BNSF retired them about an hour after the merger was official.
