I'm taking a break from Zbrush. (some 3D program)I've decided to make a quick fanart piece of one of my favorite villians. Thrax is from the unappreciated movie Osmosis Jones.
Took one hour.
I used a movie still as reference, but everything was done manually, even the background, which ironically was the easiest part.
Thrax (C) to.... Warner Brothers?

It's so sad that not many people had seen the movie. I heard it had to do with poor advertising, but oh well. At least we know about it. Wonderful rendering and thanks for keeping Thrax alive. ^_^

There was a whole bunch of toys made (22 in all), with 2" resin 'Cold Capsule Critters', 6" 7" and the deluxe 10" figures made with sound, lights, interchangeable heads, light up keychain heads with 'goo' inside, & 30" inflatables of Drix, Thrax & Ozzie.

Ahehe! Coolio! I LOVED this guy! We watched this movie yesterday in my school and I was sitting there the entire time afterwards going "'Ey bay-bay!" xD Thrax is awesome and has the coolest voice and vocabulary EVER. I love when he starts singing as he burns the paper with his claw. xD

Oooo, I like. I thought about making fire for my Thrax drawing's background, but thought the reflection would be too complicated. Did you just paint and smudge the flames? They look great.
