Part of my Tikal AU fanfic, "Master and Chaos", The Nocturnus, led by their leader Darken (using the infinite mask, since Infinite is not in my universe) are not the same as the well-known version, they are less like Atlantis and more like the Medieval times. Here they are a former band of echidnas who worship the evil entity Chaos. They actually possess two Chaos Emeralds and most of them are committed to it like a cult. They wear masks to represent their new identity. Their glowing colors are the bio-luminescent algae from the caverns where they live. Their weapons are based on actual weapons used by the Rajput of ancient India. They sure look menacing a three bladed knife, a dagger that opens like a claw, rings that slice, and a sword-whip. Their symbol on their masks is the actual symbol of Chaos.
