Slowly, Donna opened the door, her sabre tightly clenched in her right fist. Her heartbeat increased, for even in a house as small as this, the undead could wait for her and her companions. And how right she was!Leaning on the wall opposite of the entrance lay a man in the coat-of-arms of the Silver Hawks with deep bites and scratches covering his neck and body. “In the name of the twelve Gods, say something!” she wanted to say, but could not, as the man seemed to recognize her:
“There you are.”
His glassy eyes looking at her. Donna’s legs lost all their strength.
“I’ve been… waiting for you… for so long.”
His breathing became harder, somewhat exhausted. She hurried towards him.
“You’re so beautiful.”
He leaned his head towards the wall behind him. Her knees finally gave in and she fell to the ground.
“But… I wonder… how.”
His eyes closed. Without consciously doing so, she took his hand in hers.
“You look just like my sister.”
A faint smile appeared on the face of the dying man. Tears rolled over her cheek, dripping on her brother’s coat-of-arms.
“Thank you for coming, Golgari. Take… me… with… you.”
And he released his breath a final time.

Der Gute war ein Botenreiter und ist auf einem seiner Botengänge in eine Untoteninvasion verursacht durch einen Klumpen Meteoreisen geraten und kam leider nicht schnell genug wieder aus der betroffenen Burg raus.

Total schön...und traurig.
Ein Charaktertod hats immer in sich, aber birgt auch gutes Rollenspiel.
