it's a sad day today, Knut the 4 year old polar bear celebrity has died due to unknown reason as of yet.He was rejected by his mother during infancy and still managed to survive thanks to the zookeepers.Unfotunately, he died at such a young age. this doodle was done in 5 mins or so. Dedicated to Knut. I hope you guys don't mind me posting a doodle.
At least now he's with his caretaker and friend.
He never fails to make me smile whenever I see videos of him

I always had a special care for animals..
Because they are pure.. innocent...on the contrary of humans..

SSomething about his back leg shaking then falling into the water and drowning. They found him floating

I actually remember seeing a documentary on him last year about Knut and his caretaker..

Actually i am surprised that he lived that long :\ He lived together with 3 grown up females that excluded him, but that's not the main reason. He wouldn't have survived if he had been born in freedom, his mother would have probably killed and eaten him! And I guess his mother knew that something was wrong with them when he was born that's why she rejected them

Yeah I saw a comment similar to that and it just makes me wonder what his
mother saw in them that we can't. It's such a harsh reality that even if some people
have the best intentions for them, still that truth is we can do so little.

Knut was absolutely devastated when his caretaker died, a few years ago.
It might the feeling of loss that finally caught up with him, and he'd just lost the will to live...
