Also the costumer asked to make her colorfful! And let me say, characters with simple color palette are super fun to add colorful touches! I just hope I didn't exaggerated? i w i

What I like is her pose, as you said, it's like I am sitting just near her, talking about some funny private facts... You make me feel more close with my own OC with your drawing x) thank you for that :3 And... You so do an amazing job with her outfit, it's exactly her clothes, really respected, and with the colors you used, it makes her really great! I was sure your style will really fit her design

Your style is beautiful no matter what! I understand that you have a constantly-changing style and right now you are confused with whether you should do simple or detailed but the reason why we draw is that it is fun! Don't worry about your style and have fun with what you're doing! You can experiment with soft-cel shading if you want. I heard soft-cel is very fun to do!

haha, you got a point and you don't have to take my suggestion. I feel like you should change your style or keep it however you want to. Drawing is fun and styles shouldn't take away that fun. Of course, styles change over time so you should go with whatever is natural. I'm sure the people who commissioned would still ADORE your art.
