Near's next case involved a book, too. He had no idea it'd be THAT kind of book, so he's freakin'.

The title of the book if you can't read it (it's hard for ME to read) is "To Serve Man." People who've seen that particular Twilight Zone episode would get this joke. In case you don't, here's a link to the episode highlights:

This joke has been used in the animated movie Madagascar when the lemurs are freaking out on the plane about the "foosa" when a lemur's holding a book titled "To Serve Lemur" screaming "IT'S A COOKBOOK!! IT'S A COOKBOOK!!!" I can't find a clip for that.

The joke's also been in Naked Gun 2 1/2 as seen here:

Yeah, this was obviously a moment of randomness imagining Near from Death Note saying this. I just think that would be the only thing that would honestly freak him out.
