Description In the history of the British Empire, one of the most recognizeable weapons of the 19th and 20th century was the Webley Revolver. This weapon began production as early as 1853, as part of a new type revolver, the first patented single action cap and ball revolver. The weapon did show some popularity with commercial sale, the weapon didn't begin military service until 1887, when it replaced the Enfield Mks 1 and 2 revolvers. During it's service, the revolver went through many changes, which resulted in the Mk. VI variant of the pistol, which would see action in many wars, including WW1 and WW2, as well as in Vietnam and Korea. The weapon served the British until 1963, but remains a classic sidearm for any collectors interested in it.

The Webley was designed to be a top-break revolver, in a way, similar to the coach gun wielded by the Americans in the old west. The weapon is double-action and sports a 6 round cylinder, chambering the .455 Webley Mk. II. It's range consists of 620 ft per second (190 meters per second).
