A mob concept for my PaleoCraft mod: www.minecraftforum.net/forums/…Tanystropheus is a Triassic reptile that specializes in eating fish and other small animals. Its absurdly long neck allows it to snatch prey from afar and snake into schools of fish, but isn't flexible enough to be bent very far. In order to help balance out its neck, Tanystropheus has massive muscles in its hips and hind legs, which also provide propulsion while swimming. During the mating season, males slam their necks together in competitions over females, sometimes injuring them and becoming unable to hunt.
