Another sixties sci fi repro.Lost in Space.
I was reading that the man who designed B9
called the character "Blinky" I guess that's the B in B9.
Aparently he'd also designed Robby the robot from
Forbidden Planet.

I loved Lost In Space as a kid, and Robot was always my favorite character. Always enjoyed hearing Dr. Smith's assorted alliterative appellations for him. "You transistorized traitor!"
(Robot was pretty much my favorite character in the movie, too.)

yea i was a perv even as a prepubescent kid. .the older sister was beautiful but i just had the biggest crush on penny..probably cause i had a crush on penny gadget too. lol
i was just totally loved the crap the robot and dr. smith always got into. .i was always hopeing dr.smith would finally get left behind or eaten..or made into some giant one-eyed plant creatures bitch.

I wonder how hot it used to get in that thing on the set. I doubt it would've been that pleasant.

This was a robot from a 60's tv series called Lost in Space. He was always sensing "DANGER"or "UNIDENTIFIED ALIEN PRESENCE"
and flailing his arms around.

Yeah, although I haven't watched the old show but I've seen bits and pieces; I can even hear the guy's voice saying "DANGER! DANGER!" Not an easy voice to get outta my head!
He's like an icon for sci fi.
