Description A Hydra I drew. He's nobody special, but I like how his markings came out. I was trying to go for an elemental dragon thing, with the left head, ground; middle, water; and right, fire.

Beautiful! I was looking for an illustration for a post on our election reform webpage. We are trying to pass a better voting method so that every vote is actually equal. It turns out that the Equal Vote is the key to the three major branches of the election reform movement but they are generally regarded as being separate. I thought a three headed dragon would be the perfect way to show that we are all in this fight together.

Do you mind if we use it? Challenge: I was hoping to find a drawing with a dragon like this with each of the three heads fighting a different warrior! I'm inspired. Maybe I'll draw it myself!

I just read in a How-to-draw Dragons book that an excellent way to get a really strong pose out of a hydra is to make all the heads looking at the same spot, but from different angles, you know what I mean? For example, if that middle head were looking in the same general direction as the other two instead of just kind of staring off into space, it would really give the impression that it's staring intently at something... perhaps a puny human who decided to trespass. Just an idea.

This is amazing, Hydra! I really love your colouring style here c:
My favorite head here is the earth one. I don't know why, though.

Beautifully drawn and great looking hydra, i think you did great drawing the necks too

I love hydras, to me they are a very underated type of dragon, those kinds aren't really as famous as the eastern dragons or the classic western types we here of, interesting creatures aren't they
