Well, I know why this is so popular- it's fantastic! I came across it in a group gallery full of really cute/artistic deviations, and this one was so vibrant and lively that I had to look at it. I've been browsing at a lot of art lately, and this is by far one of the most attractive pieces I've come across today. Your coloring is fabulous; I love the different tints you use when shading. The bold outlines add a really defining touch, expecially because of the little swirls you've added- the ones on Link's boots are so subtle and fun to notice. Their poses and expressions are so in-character. The framework around them really adds an original feel to this, as opposed to simply having the sky as a background. The more neutral colors used around them help draw the eye to the subjects of the picture. And I like how the lines are sketchy, but that the outlines of the triforce are bold and thick and so much more defined than those of the rest of the picture. Really, really nice work! Love the bright colours, and the 'grainy' texture that was used on the official WW artwork as well, if I remember correctly (though that was just a digital effect).
...But since this is traditional, it wouldn't be possible for you to upload a higher resolution version, so that we could use it as our wallpaper?

Sorry I explained myself poorly, but I like the texture this has! I meant that it reminded me somewhat of the official artwork, as in a compliment.
