Also known as Pokemon Trainer, or Ash Ketchum. Red is the main character of Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, and the Japan only Green. He is also the main character of the remake of Fire Red and leaf green. He was last seen in the Unknown dungeon, in Pokemon Gold and Silver as the strongest trainer you can challenge. That was bad ass.
Ouf of all personalityless video game characters, Red has the least amount of personality. He has even less than no personality. Im just going to say it. I wish they would make pokemon games better. Seriously. I loved red and blue... but ever since... it's been more of the same....
I refuse to have anything to do with mystery dungeon, or ranger or whatever. Colluseum was "eh" ...and Stadium and Stadium 2 were masterpieces that were complimentary of red/blue and gold/silver...
Might as well say it now... I will not be drawing any Pokemon in the 500 character challenge. All pokemon must be accompanied by a trainer. Mewtwo is a special Case. I might make the same special case for Lucario or some other special pokemon.
Pokemon are not the main characters of the games, the trainers are. But for some reason, nintendo acts as if the pokemon are the main characters... which REALLY makes for next to no story at all. pff.

Seriously, it would be nice if the writing was actually good. Then again, if it was actually good, Pokemon would evolve, Team Rocket would have given up, and Ash wouldn't have been the main star for the entire span of the series.
There's a reason people still play the games but have stopped watching the Anime.

I agree that his anime counterpart is pretty lame compared to his game and manga self, but Ash is one of the default names the player is given for him, and as such, I would imagine that it's a pretty popular name for him to be known by, but I know for a fact that it's not really him, and it's actually red, which is why I called him "red" in the title of the picture.

Red is NOT found in the Unknown Dungeon in Pokemon G/S/C. The Unknown Dungeon, also known as Cerulean Cave, is gone in the second generation. Instead, you fight Red on Mt. Silver.

Red looks really Cool... but his hair is similar to Shing Meteoryte's hair from Tales of Hearts. In other words: "It looks like Shing Meteoryte is cosplaying as Red" XD

I have to point out, he's Red, but not ASH. Both are separate characters. Red's the main character in games and manga, while Ash is based on him and used in anime, even that it did lead into a game based on it. (Pokemon Puzzle League on N64, that featured Ash, Tracey and some other characters from anime.)
According what I have seen from PKMN Gold and Silver, Red has also has Pikachu, about 80 lvl.

I would like to agree, but since there a BAJILLION pokemon out there and the name of the game ig "Pokemon", well, yeah, I guess the trainser get the short end of the stick.
