I actually did this one last year, but forgot I never uploaded it here! It was done for a storybook project and features kappas, Japanese mischievous turtle-like humanoids, gathering around a purified pond that's surrounded by hot springs. The lotus somehow keeps the water surrounding it cool and very refreshing, making it an ideal spot for kappa gatherings who have quite an affinity for hot springs.

Made with my good old Kuretake watercolour paints with a micron for the outline! The paper itself is Cotman cold pressed 300gsm.
