The endless seas, the open pathThe whipping of the wind
I left all I loved on land
So my journey could begin
Once a king among kings
But now older and frail
The successor to the throne
Will hear the praise and hails
Home is where the heart is
But also so is hell
No ringing of church bells
Nor death and it's mournful knells
We who have no intentions
Of the common life
Leave the hell of society
And end an age long strife
For Me and my men will
Bear the sea and beasts
The land that we reach
We shall pillage and shall feast
Once out here, no matter death
Whatever our fates shall be
We travel with an easy heart
