Sonic the hedgehog CD 2.0

Mini-story:

Lying in a peaceful field, we find our hero watching the clouds. Suddenly Dr. Robotnik (aka Eggman) flys by rather quickly in the direction of Never Lake.

Suspicious, the blue hedgehog followed. The last time he had gone to Never Lake, he found the Little Planet chained to a nearby mountain.

Instead when he got there there was nothing in sight. However upon second glace Sonic noticed something flickering in the air above the lake. Quickly hiding, he watched Robotnik fly right into the flickering in the air... and then vanish! It was a portal! But to where? The Little Planet had been gone for years, breaking the cycle ever since Robotnik took it over.

Without anymore thought on it, he built up speed and jumped into the portal... little did he know of what strange and dangerous new twists and turns were lying ahead...

Game:
As Sonic, you must save the world from oblivion as the Little Planet is unstable, producing random portals, non-existant time zones, and the fabric of time itself is in danger of tearing the universe to shreads.

YAH! 8D A new technique I discovered allowed me to color these pictures without lines and still preserve the anti-alias. I constructed the Little Planet from scratch... (or a ball I drew on the original paper actually). The Time Stone is TRUELY from scratch however.

I was originally going to have Retro Amy in the lower right hand corner, but due to the fact that I hadn't completely drawn her, and I was lacking time and patience to reconstruct her... in the end, I'm glad I scrapped her out, as it probably would've ruined the picture's darkish mood.

Anyway, even if this doesn't get any attention, I'll at least have a milestone to look back on.
