Rest in peace, Prismacolor markers.A commission from ~gracifer . These three fighting (left to right: Auron, Yuna, Wakka) something really cool and colored in markers. They ended up fighting Evrae. Game discrepancies aside, OMG. This was a lot of fun and a lot of work. It about killed a few of my Prismacolor markers and it ran down most of the tip of my Prismacolor pencil blender and one of my blues. But I think it was worth it.
I'm extremely happy with this, it's not fathomable. Since the list of things I think look really good would go on for a while, I'll just say that the only things I might have changed were the color of Wakka's hair (I didn't have the right markers--though probably not, I have a TON--or at very least, I didn't have the right combination of markers) and the quality of Yuna's staff. The top looks...um, mediocre, at best.I'm glad to have this done, and I'm very, very proud.
See, this is what a commission from me has the potential to be! *giggle*
Done with Micron pens (.005), Prismacolor markers and pencils, and pieced together/touched up in Photoshop
Auron, Yuna, Wakka, Evrae, and Final Fantasy X in general belong to Squaresoft

This is awesome! I see Auron's Banishing Blade (he might be able to unlock it before fighting Evrae if you backtrack, though I only got that Overdrive on Mt. Gagazet), Yuna looks like she's summoning Valefor (even though you said in a reply to another deviant that it was Esuna), and it seems Wakka got three Water symbols on his Element Reels and is about to make a big splash (though Evrae halves elemental damage). Is Evrae itself about to use Photon Spray?
You did a great job here. The colors and proportions are accurate if not perfect, and the detail is amazing. According to your Artist's Comments, you were worried about a few things, but they all turned out beautifully. This is certainly a favorite for my collection. Keep up the good work!

holy cow. this is ridiculous. as in, ridiculously detailed and full of action. its cool that you can still manage to create an awesome composition with the figures' backs to the viewer. i mean, this is just freaking AWESOME.

Yuna is casting Esuna. ^^ I had to cast it about a million times in-game to get a good reference of what it looks like.

Oh, GEEZ. A lot. Probably as much as Esuna. I got the symbols, though, from inside Sin. They rotate around the floor, so I was able to get nice visuals of the symbols (it would be impossible to get them from the overdrive itself--unless you had a gigantic television...um...okay, I DO have a gigantic television, but...BIGGER). Yeah. Well, in general it's called Bushido, but that particular Overdrive is Banishing Blade (I'm so ashamed, I had to go look that up...I forgot what it was called).

Love this pic to bits! The coloring is lovely, and there's just so much action! Everyone really looks alive and in motion. Wakka's hair actually looks pretty good (his hair is impossible...I've tried >___< ), and...well, Auron's already been commented upon XD> But I love the way you drew his Overdrive.
And Yuna...omg Yuna's stick looks awesome. I don't know why that stands out, but it does.

HOLYSHIT. This is so utterly amazing. O__O I swear, I've been sitting in this chair for the past 10 minutes staring at this picture; and you did it entirely in markers?! Daaaamn. You got some serious talent. <3333 You drew the characters so well, the poses fit them and the cooolors! They look exactly like the colors in the game, very impressive. The special effects is simply stunning, abosouately stunning. Mainly I love this is because of Auron, HEISSUCHKICKASS! <3 I love this too much, a definate fav. <3333333

And I felt bad because it was a commission and my friend really likes Wakka...and he's sorta not as cool...as...Auron...in this picture...(he is SWEET in the game, but I digress).

First of all: thank you so much for doing this! This will be the prize of my art collection! I have a million things to say about it, but I will try to keep the comment down in size a bit.
Wakka's pose looks exactly like it does in the game, and you did a really nice job with his musculature! His color scheme is truly wonky, but whatcha gonna do, neh? Hehe. Yuna looks lovely and elegant and her hair is just beautiful! Auron...well, he's HOTT, man! You just made him freaking hott. You also did a good job in coloring his outfit, it looks totally sweet.
Evrae still makes me laugh with his NURR *turn upside down* NURR! Haha, but I love 'em! The wings are magnificent, I love how you added so much detail with the scales and everything. The pyreflies are cute, too. Hee.

Oh. Well, let's see. I did the pyreflies first (the little floating, glowy things), though that was because I didn't ink them and had to go to each one, erase the pencil, then quickly color in the pyrefly before I forgot where it was supposed to go. Then I did the spells and special attacks and whatnot. ^^
