Sort of.
If I may quote Agent 505: "It's a Turbo Teen fanfic- I'm planning on posting the origin story after one more. Basically, she was delivering mail to the lab that Dr. Chase was planning on testing the matter transmutation ray in. She tripped over a bundle of wires and crossed through the beam, which was aimed at a Chrysler Sebring convertible. Her DNA was merged with it, and the rest is history."
So when her body becomes too warm, her TF starts to take place. Then she must immediately cool off or it will take full effect.

Yeah my brother had a Sebring conv. and a friend of mine had two of them. They are very nice cars. I could handle being one I suppose
