As I've promised, I'm submitting a series of Christmas watercolor paintings of some of my favorite Christmas characters and specials! Unfortunately I might not have as many this month as I've hoped, but I'll still try to bring you guys as many as possible.

I kind of felt the urge to draw Hermey from Rhudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer first, because I actually surprisingly relate to him in more aspects than the flippy bangs. It might not look like it at first because I most certainly do not want to be a dentist, but in reality, we just both want jobs that aren't practical to our kind. I'd much rather be an elf than a dentist. Honestly though, I just seem to have these interests that are far from practical and socially admirable. Society tells me to be a doctor or lawyer when I'd probably have a lot better at being something much more artistic, like a concept artist or poet. I could go much more in-depth with how contrasting my interests are, but hey, seems I don't fit in.

It was pretty hard to get this right. Many of the important colors I had for this need to be blended to make, which was hard to keep the consistency, as you can probably see from the table he's resting poorly detailed hand on.. It didn't exactly turn out as nice as the other ones I have yet to submit, but I guess that'll be a nice buildup.
